After an exciting day yesterday, Peyton and I became quite bored so we packed up old bread, old cooked rice, chips, and cereal and headed out to City Park to feed the ducks. When we started off throwing bread it was just ducks and pigeons around, but then all kinds of wildlife started to appear (maybe it was the rice). Nutria Rats started approaching us to see what goodies we had to offer. Peyton and I have been to the park many times to feed the ducks but this was the first time these little critters actually came out of the water to beg for food. I mean they came really, really close. Peyton was so excited to feed the "mouse"! :) Then other birds came around as well as a squirrel. We had all kinds of creatures to feed today. It was awesome!! Afterwards we had some 2 year old pictures taken of Peyton, played a while on the playground, then stopped to have some ice cream.
Then the above beautiful smile turned into this. My tired little guy was very, very unhappy that we had to leave the park!
