Today we celebrated Woodes' (Peyton's Florida trip buddy) 5th birthday. Peyton was so excited to see Woodes again, but soon realized that because it was Woodes birthday, he was super busy being the star of his show and entertaining all of his friends that were there. Peyton should understand, he was a star of his own show not too long ago and had to deal with all the kids wanting his attention. I still chuckle when I think back to that day. :)
Don't worry my Sweetheart! You will have Woodes' complete attention this coming July 4th Pensacola trip!
Woodes party was really cute with a Scooby Doo theme which Peyton recognized immediately since he is starting to really like Scooby and the gang now! :) First activity for the kids are balloons! It's not a real party until you have balloons!
Next was the freeze dance. Last year, you wouldn't catch Peyton participating in something like this. This year he jumped right in! My baby is so growing up! And he sure knows how to shake that booty!
Then they handed out the party favors! Peyton's favorite part of a party (besides the cake)! I think he liked his party favor. Can you tell?
After favors, it was cake time. Since we were at the park, it was a heck of a time keeping the candles going, but when they finally did..................
my son took the opportunity by the horns and BLEW them out! Thanks Peyton, I am sure Woodes appreciate you stealing the thunder of his big moment. :) Woodes didn't care. Just relight and blow again which is exactly what Woodes did.
