Camping Day 2

It was so wonderful having my coffee on the porch looking out on the lake!  Ahhh, bliss..... This morning was quite foggy and the fog looked beautiful on the lake. Of course I had to pull out my  camera!!  After breakfast, Dad, Angela, Kevin and I took a bike  ride to scope out the area while Mom watched Peyton.  The bike ride was AWESOME!!  The scenery is beautiful.  Going up and down the hills were not as bad as Little Black Creek.  The hills at Percy Quinn are much longer and took some leg action to get up, but going down these hills was exhilarating!  We were coasting down some hills going as fast as 23 mph.   The hills are long so you are traveling at this speed for a couple of minutes!  I was hoping to see more wild animals but we did see a bald eagle flying above hunting for his breakfast!!  I had my point and shoot camera but the eagle was too fast for it.  Oh well!  After our ride we had lunch, played horseshoes and hung out until it was time to do some BBQing for dinner.

Now with family trips, you know things always happen!  Whether it is funny or not!!  Now for incident number one:  Right before dinner Mom broke the lock to their new camper trying to get in by using the wrong key.  She messed up the tumbler.  They tried everything to get that lock to work.  There were even fellow campers surrounding their camper trying to find a way in.  In the end they had to call Pop-a-Lock which cost them $50.00.
