So this trip is one of the events that Peyton was most excited about. What more fun is there but to spend three days with non-stop swimming with your best friend? This place is not like the Jellystone you see advertised in other places, like in Texas. In Texas, Jellystone is in a pretty location. This area is kind of bland, full of people with cigarettes between their fingers and loud partying till the wee hours in the morning. Plus everyone was hogging up the fire pits, so we had to bum off of one in order for the kids to do a quick smore. But we keep telling ourselves that the kids are having a blast and that is all that matters, right? Even though Kevin and I had better when it comes to places to spend our time, it was so great spending time with friends. But next year, I think we may try to convince Peyton to try someplace different.
