Today we decided to pick up Grand Dad and go to the Terrytown Spring Festival. This was the first festival for Terrytown and the first festival of Spring for us! It was pretty nice. I can see them expanding this festival in the future. The band was pretty cool called Amanda Shaw and The Cute Guys. That Amanda Shaw can play some fiddle! :) The food was okay. Nothing like the French Quarter Fest that is coming up, but I can see future possiblilites for this festival. They just need a little work with their food vendors and crafts. And the weather was absolutely gorgeous today!! You couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to spend at a festival.
