Today we met with the specialist, Dr. Miller. This was a nerve racking appointment because the last time we saw a specialist with one of my past pregnancies after Peyton, we didn't receive good news. So this appointment was hard for me and I did a lot of praying and asked others to please pray that this little guy gets a good report.
After the specialist discussed my risks because of my age and our decisions concerning such risks, we started the ultrasound. My little guy looked perfect. Everything from my little guy's size, his NT scan, the placenta, etc, looked so good, Dr. Miller said he couldn't ask for any better. Needless to say, my heart as well as Kevin's was spilling over with joy. What a change to hear wonderful news instead of bad! Dr. Miller even let us watch our little guy kick around on the ultrasound machine. What an amazing sight.
Dr. Miller wants to see me at 18 weeks. We continue to pray that this baby continues to grow healthy and strong and they do not see anything concerning at that time.
We are in love already and can't wait to see this little one in January!
