Today we took a drive over to Dinner Bell to have lunch since Angela missed out the last time. Love their food!! This time Peyton was not interested in eating there. He wanted to play and sitting at a round table was the last thing on his agenda. Kevin found a peg game which kept him quiet for most of our lunch so we only had to deal with a whine now and then. But soon enough we were out of there and heading to Walmart to pick up a few food items and some fishing poles. My Dad, surprisingly, forgot his fishing equipment. So we picked up two inexpensive poles. When we had our poles picked out I was ready to fish.....but not without first the grandparents taking Peyton down the Hotwheels section. And..... Peyton got 5 new Hotwheels! Was he excited and couldn't wait for me to open the package. He was a little irritated with me for wanting a picture first of his new cars! HA! After we settled back to the cabin we did a little fishing until sunset. Kevin has never fished before so we were all proud when he caught his very first fish. The fish were very little so we threw them back but we all had fun catching them!!
Today went well without any incidents. We had an almost incident when my Mom was bending over near the bank getting bait when Peyton came up behind her running and gave her a huge shove. She had to drop to the ground and balance herself to not fall in the water. That would have been funny......but I would never tell my Mom that! :) The other thing was that Angela had to leave to go home for work tomorrow! :( We were all sad to see her go and wished she could stay longer because it is just not the same without her here. Hopefully next year she can stay longer.
