Mommy and Daddy's Halloween Night

This Halloween we got to spend it downtown for the Saint's game.  We started off again at Yo Mama's. (Love, love that place)  Only thing is that it took us over an hour to get our food.   But once we got our burgers...it was well worth the wait!  So yummy!!  Afterwards we walked to the Dome and saw some very interesting costumes!  I think almost everyone dressed up.  There were costumes everywhere!!  And we are happy to say that we won the so-called best team in the league this season, the Steelers 20-10!!!

Peyton's Halloween Night

This Halloween Peyton got to spend it with Grammy and Grand Dad.  Daddy and I had to miss out because the Saint's game fell on this night.  Peyton really did rack up on some candy!  I am sad that I missed out on the fun but I am glad that Peyton and Grammy had an opportunity to trick or treat together.

Halloween Eve Block Party

Since the Saints are playing on Halloween night, the good people of Lakeview on Argonne Street did their trick or treating block party tonight.  I was so excited when I found this out!!  I was upset when I realized that I was going to miss Halloween with my sweetie because of the game.  But we did our trick or treating tonight and took pictures with our pumpkin family.  Tomorrow night Peyton will spend Halloween with his Grammy as we cheer the Saints on for a win!  :)

Mommy's Little Monsters

Peyton loved this little gadget.  He jumps in front of us and does the Grrrrrrrrrr noises.   So cute seeing him in the Halloween spirit  this year!  And Zack had the teeth in his mouth after Peyton just so who ever reads this doesn't cringe.  My puppy always has to be in the action no matter what it is!  :)

Say Cheese Mommy

I am going to make my little man a photographer yet!  His favorite thing to do now is to take objects and pretend they are a camera then says "say cheese Mommy".  Today as we were outside enjoying the fall weather, Peyton brought me a flower and told me he wanted to take a picture of me with it.  Then  he look through the handle of  my tripod and clicked the plate guard handle as though the "camera" was taking a picture.  What a cutie pie!

Boo at the Zoo

Tonight was Boo at the Zoo time!  We really enjoyed it except for the extremely long lines.  Thank goodness the lines moved fast.  But other than that, everything was really nice, the weather felt wonderful and Peyton had a great time.  We even ran into some of Peyton's little friends and got to see how adorable they looked in their costumes!!  We are so looking forward to next year.

Picka Pumpkin Day

It's pumpkin time again!  This is the third year that Peyton and I picked out our pumpkin family.  Well...this is Peyton's first real year picking.  I don't remembering him caring too much last year.  He was all excited running up and down the rows looking for his "baby" pumpkin as I searched out for the Mommy and Daddy pumpkin.   :)  Then after some pictures we had lunch next door at McDonald's.   What a fun morning we had!!

Bed Hair and Peanut Butter

I have to chuckle when I see Peyton's beautiful blond hair all over the place when he wakes up.   Such a sight!  We were about to have our breakfast outside on the deck and I asked Peyton what he wanted to eat.  He said peanut butter toast.  First time for that request.  I think he really enjoyed his peanut butter toast because he had it all over his face.  He looked adorable sitting there with his bed hair, peanut butter mouth and scrapped up knees.  :)

Sharon's Birthday Luncheon

Today was my friend Sharon's birthday so I dropped Peyton off at Grammy's house for a couple of hours and we had lunch at Dos Gringos (Mexican).   The food was just okay but I think they are known better for their bar.  After lunch and a couple of margaritas (and a birthday shot), we hung out for a while at Sharon's house then I left to pick up my little man.  Grammy must have played hard with him because he was out before we hit the corner.

Peyton's Mac

When we were on our camping trip, Kevin looked over at me and said "We have to have a talk about what you are carrying our son's matchbox cars in!"  I started to laugh.  When we were leaving for our trip I couldn't find anything to carry his cars in so I grabbed an old purse that I had.  It was a black purse with pink and red lipstick kiss prints all over it.   I figured well Peyton's only 3 so he won't care....forgetting that Daddy may care!  :)  Oh well, I do what works.  HA!

So today there was a yard sale happening close to our house and I went to kind of take a peek to see what they had.  I came across this big rig truck that carries matchbox cars on both sides and you can take the front of the rig off and it turns into just a carrying case.  And they were only asking $1.00 for it.  I was so excited, especially when I realized that the big rig rolled.  I knew Peyton would love that more than my kiss purse!  :)  When I got it home and cleaned it up he was thrilled to have it (along with Daddy I am sure).  The first thing he said that it was Mac from Disney's Cars.  So we call the big rig.... Mac.  He has been playing with it all day.  What a great find!!!!
