Happy New Year!

As the Year 2012 comes to a close, I ponder on how wonderful this year has been to our family.   It's a great list and I feel the need to write them out.  So here they are:    I had a successful pregnancy after experiencing losses in the years of 2009, 2010, and 2011.  With our pregnancy, we received one good report after another concerning our baby from doctors and specialists.  We have started attending church and I feel that I have become closer to God.  We have become so much closer to wonderful friends.  We learned we were having a baby girl added to our family!!!!!  We all have our health.  We have a beautiful home.  Kevin has a great job.  I got to stay home and raise my son and to enjoy (what I could enjoy) of my pregnancy.  And the best part was that we got to meet our beautiful baby girl! And I know there are more, but it is just too many to list.  We couldn't ask for a better beginning and an even better ending to the year of 2012.  I am so happy!!!!  I now have all my loves.  I have my little boy,  my beautiful baby girl, and a wonderful husband.  Who can ask for anything more?

Because Emma is so little, we considered staying home.  Amber invited us to her house for a low-key New Years.  Kevin and I decided that we really wanted to spend New Years with the people we have come to love and adore.  The only ones missing was Becca and her beautiful family, but I know she was thinking about us as we of her.  We had a very nice time and the kids LOVED watching the fireworks outside Amber and Tim's door.  What a wonderful ending to a wonderful year and I am so looking forward to spending 2013 with my beautiful family.

Visiting Mimi and Pawpaw

Today we went over to Mimi and Pawpaw's house so that they can get their Emmalia fix.  Baby girl slept the whole time.  I blame it on the fact that Mom and Dad had it so cold in their house.  They don't believe in the heater for some reason!  Dad feels that the heat harvest germs!  :)  Even though Emma slept practically the whole time, she was still so stinking cute!  Love that girl.  Love my boy too!

Bath Time

Emma loves her baths!  Well, until I take her out to dry, then it is a different story.  She starts complaining then even though the bathroom is toasty warm.  :)  Big brother loves to help wash our girl. Daddy grabbed the camera to take some pictures but with the lens I had on my camera, we couldn't get Peyton into the shot.   Oh well, we will try again.  What a wonderful big brother he is to our Emma girl!  Adore that boy!

Some Emma Pictures

I wish I had the camera that I have now back when my little guy was a baby.  I love taking pictures of this stage in their little life.  Look at my beautiful Emmalia!  What beautiful moments!  I am taking it all in.  I won't have this long at all.  Babies grow so fast.  Peyton only proved to me how fast time flies.

Christmas Dinner

After our visit with Angela and Mike, we headed back over to Kevin's parent's house for Christmas dinner.  I wish I could say that I took pictures of the nice dinner that was prepared, or at least all of us sitting around the dinner table.  But for some reason (which it is very obvious why) I was distracted.  I only got two...TWO pictures.  Very unlike me.  Let's just say that Christmas day was wonderful.  It is always great to celebrate the holidays with family, especially now that Emma is here to join us.

Christmas Morning at Nanny and Uncle Mike's

So it's Christmas morning!!!!  This year Angela and Mike invited us to their house for Christmas breakfast.  We started this breakfast tradition about 2 or 3 years ago.  I love it! I look forward to spending time with my sister and her new family (hubby Mike)...... and hopefully some little Angela or Mike's before long.  :)  They prepared a feast of a breakfast with eggs, muffins, sausage, fruit, and delicious French Toast.   So yummy!  Afterwards we opened presents....Peyton's favorite part.  He must had asked like 1000 times when it was time.  My sweet boy had so much fun today with his Nanny and Uncle Mike!
