A Crawfish Eating Father's Day

I think that Daddy and Grand Dad had a wonderful Father's Day.  We started off with some drinks, then some boiled crawfish,  then Kevin and Grand Dad opened presents then we had some of Dawn's delicious Tiramisu.   For Daddy and Grand Dad's Father's Day present, I took Peyton to Sport's Authority for him to pick out his presents.  He picked out a really nice Hornet's hat for them.  Peyton is getting really good with his gift picking!

The Greatest Show on Earth

Today we went to see the Ringling Bros, Barnum & Bailey Circus at the Arena.  WE HAD A BLAST!!  Kevin got us the best seats.  We were so close that I was able to take some awesome pictures!!   I enjoyed this year more than the last two years!!  The show was awesome and Peyton loved everything about it.  But his favorite was the motorcycles.   He was so excited during the motorcycle stunts.  My favorite, of course, were the elephants!  :)  Can't wait for next year!!

Swimming at Nanny's

Sunday Brunch

This morning we met up with Grammy and Grand Dad to have a nice Sunday Morning Brunch at Russell's Marina.  I actually tried for the first time Waffles and Chicken.  It is rather good!!  Afterwards Kevin wanted to show Peyton the new little park in Lakeview that has a tire swing and other tree swings.  Peyton was impressed but wanted no part of the swings.  So I had to make him swing sitting on me..... and even though he was smiling in the picture, he wasn't very happy with me!!  :)

Family Outing

My dishwasher broke so we needed to go to Sears to order another one.  We figured that while we were out we could stop by next door to have some Mexican.   We seem to love Mexican lately!!   Then off to Sears to spend some more money!  :)  And you know Peyton had to take a ride on the lawn mowers!!

A $7.00 Strawberry

Today my little family went to the mall to do a little Father's Day shopping.   As we was walking through the mall, Peyton spotted the Godiva Shop and saw the chocolate covered strawberries.  Now my baby, like his Daddy, l.o.v.e.s chocolate covered strawberries.  And of course Peyton wanted one.  We told him okay and stopped in.  I love Godiva chocolate but they charge $7.00 for one strawberry.  Uhhh, kind of expensive!!   Kevin and I looked at each other because we knew that we lost and Godiva won with this.  We were going to buy the most expensive strawberry EVER because Peyton's mouth was watering before they bagged it.  But Peyton enjoyed every cent of it.  We just have to remember that next time we are in the mall to walk on the other side and away from Godiva! :)
