Chuck E. Cheese Fun with Logan

So Peyton was again invited to Chuck E. Cheeses but this time with Logan.  I was feeling a little better today but still had nausea off and on through our visit there.  And of course Peyton had loads of fun!  I was so happy to see my little guy having fun with his little buddy.

Even though I was feeling downright horrible with pregnancy nausea, I couldn't help but to say yes when Peyton was invited to meet Konnor at Chuck E. Cheese.  They had so much fun!  And I took it easy by snacking often so that I didn't feel to bad.  I made it through all right.  Of course bed was calling my name when it was time to go, but I was happy that I got through  it all so that Peyton can have some fun today.  

6 Weeks

I decided not to see my doctor until I was 8 weeks.  I figured that no matter what happens, the results were going to be the same whether I go in at 6 weeks or 8 weeks.  But after thinking about it for two weeks, and speaking with my doctor, I figured that I need to go in earlier just in case I was indeed dealing with another molar pregnancy.  If I was, I wanted it taken care as soon as possible. No need to wait.  So Kevin, Peyton and I went in for an ultrasound.

The whole time in the waiting room, I was scared.  I mean scared out of my mind.  I was close to tears.  My heart was going crazy with palpitations.  It just wasn't a good wait.  I know the people around me was wondering what was going on with me.  Finally, they called me to the back.

The ultrasound tech was super sweet and really tried to ease my fears.  She started the ultrasound and immediately told me that things looked great!  "There is the heartbeat"  she said.  "It's 122 bpm".   "There's the fetal pole and everything is measuring great so this is NOT a molar pregnancy." she continues.

She finally left the ultrasound room and when she did, I busted out in tears.  Poor Peyton was confused as to why I was crying and kept asking what was wrong.  When Kevin told him that I was crying because I was happy, my poor boy was really confused.  He just didn't understand why I was crying IF I was happy.  :)

Well, we are happy that one hurdle has been jumped.  There is a heartbeat!  I am still too cautious to celebrate but at least for today, I can smile.  I will definitely give thanks to God for this wonderful gift.

Swimming and Pregnancy

So I am really feeling this pregnancy.  Feeling really, really tired and nauseated.  I wanted nothing more than to stay in bed but we were invited to Angela's sister-n-law's birthday celebration.  Peyton was really excited to see Mike's nephews, Cullin and Cody, so I forced myself to get up and get dressed.  And keeping the pregnancy a secret was really hard.  I think Angela figured it out fast when she saw that I did not have an alcohol beverage in my hand.  I guess I will have to talk to her later about it since she found out faster by silence than when the time was right.  

End of School Program

Today is Peyton's last day of school for the summer.  Hard to believe my baby is now going to be in PK-4!  Peyton knew today was his last day and he was pretty excited but still tried to talk his way out of going today by saying he was not feeling well.  I really do believe that he was not feeling well.  During the whole program he had such a somber look on his face and I swear at some points I thought he was going to cry.    But he got through it just fine and afterwards he told his friends and teachers, Ms. Deborah and Ms. Donna bye for the summer.  Here is to a great summer of fun!!

Blackmail Pictures

Nanny came by for a little visit.  As we were talking Nanny slipped off her high heels and next thing we knew Peyton was prancing around in them.  This kid sure does know how to make us laugh.  He is so funny!  And I really, really believe that these pictures will make great blackmail pictures in the future.  *wink wink*

Lazy Morning

This morning we got up late but not to late to order brunch from the new place called Pizza Nola.  I have to say that their breakfast was pretty good.  I think my little guy really enjoyed his.  This is definitely a place I will want to try again.
