My Sidekick, Zack

My puppy is at the groomers today. And for some reason I didn't realize just how much he helps me when it comes to Peyton. See the picture below. Well, if puppy was home, I wouldn't have had to worry about this mess to pick up after lunch. HA! I didn't realize how much Peyton can waste.....or how many "treats" Zack really does get everyday. Lucky dog!

PS And to those who may notice...yes Peyton is still wearing the same outfit from yesterday. LOL. He was too worn out yesterday from being at Grammy's for bathtime or even for a change of clothes. So he had a quickie wash down after his messy lunch.

A Day with Grammy

Since Peyton missed out seeing Grammy for Easter, he spent the day with her today. This gave me a chance to go grocery shopping. Good thing because we were literally out of everything! I took my time with shopping and saved us over 50 dollars! I had time to compare prices and think about what we really needed and what could hold off until next time. I find myself when shopping with Peyton throwing stuff in the basket as my mind is freezing over due to Peyton losing patients being in the basket after a while. I have a problem with people staring at me because Peyton is screaming his head off. LOL! Not his fault though because I am a slow shopper! HA!

Boat Sandbox

Mimi and Pawpaw gave Peyton a Little Tikes boat which could be a sandbox or swimming pool. Since we already have a swimming pool, we thought a sandbox would be nice. Peyton loves it! He was quite upset with me this evening when I put the top on because it was time to go inside. This little boy LOVES to be outside!! :p

Ashley's and Graham's Playdate

Today we went to Ashley and Graham's (co-hosted by Angele & Andrew) playdate. They hosted an amazing playdate. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! It was kind of chilly in the shade, but felt great when you were in the sun. The kids LOVED going from inside to outside then from outside back inside to play. And Graham has such wonderful outdoor toys. Peyton especially loved the playhouse. We may have to talk daddy into getting him one! ;)

Peyton loved Graham's playhouse!

Easter with Family

Easter was very nice! We grilled hamburgers on the grill and ate outside as the strong wind was blowing our napkins away. LOL (Heavy duty rain was coming in last night.) Grammy missed out this Easter due to being out of town on business. We miss her alot. Easter wasn't the same without her! But Peyton got to spend lots of quality time with Nanny. Overall, Peyton got some cute outfits, candy and a football basket.

Nanny's Easter gift to Peyton. Hanging with my Peeps shirt. :)

I think Peyton is hunting, but not for eggs! :)

Happy Easter

Happy Easter! Today we are spending Easter with Peyton's grandparents and his Nanny. Nothing too special for dinner. We are just grilling some hamburgers on the grill. I pulled out Peyton's Easter bunny ears. I want to take a picture of him in the ears on every Easter so I can post them from each year. I had to literally chase him all over the house to get him to put them on. He kept taking them off and throwing them on the floor as to say..I'm not wear those girlie things. LOL. As you can see in the picture I made him do it anyway and he gave me that look. HA! Well at least he liked his Easter present which is Disney's Thumper.

Awwhhh, Peyton at three months. So cute! Easter 2008
Now the eviled-eyed, pouty mouthed Peyton. Well he still looks cute! :) Easter 2009
Loving his Easter gift, Disney's Thumper!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter day!!!

Mr. Independent

At what point it is time for Mommy to stop doing everything for her baby? Peyton is getting to the point where he wants to do things himself. Things such as feedings to helping him down the stairs. Nope, he just pushes my hand away and gives me the aaaahhhhh as he shakes his head. I am not use to this! He is growing up way too fast for me. Last night was Spagetti night.....and as you can see, he wanted to be Mr. Independent for dinner.

After dinner he started acting really silly.

Crescent City Classic run

Today Kevin ran the Crescent City Classic. He does this every year and has been getting better and better. He beat his record from last year by running the whole 6 miles in under an hour. Good job honey. I use to be one of the walkers but since I am dealing with Achilles Tendonitis, I figured it would be best if I sat this one out. I did enjoy hanging out with Peyton and lounging under the Lockheed tent drink beers and eating burgers. :)

Peyton couldn't get enough of all the puppies that was out today.
Hanging with Daddy after the race.
It was kind of chilly at 7:00 this morning waiting for the runners to appear.

Meeting Daddy at the finish line.
