Grandad's Birthday

It's Grandad's birthday! For his birthday we had ice cream cake like we had at Peyton's birthday. Grandad like Peyton's cake so much he wanted the same kind of cake. It is good! Yum.....

Aquarium Visit with Mimi & Pawpaw

Today we went to the Aquarium. Peyton had such a good time. He was so interested in the fish and when we came across the penguins, he was so amazed. I think he thought they were puppies! HA! I just wish the Aquarium was bigger. It seemed like we went through it so fast.

Rocks

Today was a nice day so Peyton and I went out to play. My son is obsessed with the garden rocks. It kept him busy for an hour filling the bowl and dumping it out again. Ahhh, the little things that make little ones very, very happy. When the sun started to go down, it got really cold. While I was doing the pee-pee dance I noticed that the cold was not bothering Peyton at the least. Which meant that when Mommy said it was time to go inside, I was protested big time. Summer can't get here fast enough for me!

At Play

My son loves trucks. Trucks, trucks and more trucks. I have a feeling I have a future Matchcar fan on my hands. And he has come to be quite a walker. He thinks he is bad ass! :) Exploring all over the house for new things to get into. Grammy pulled out Kevin and Dawn's old rocking horse to play with he visits the grandparents. Peyton still has some growing to do before he can reach the bottom to rock.

The Moon

Isn't the moon beautiful? I love how this shot caught the craters. Tonight is a clear and cool night....so the moon caught my eye. This shot has nothing to do with Peyton, but after putting him to bed I stepped outside and saw how clear the moon was tonight. So, of course, I took a picture.

Today was wonderful with my Kevin, Peyton and I spending most of the day in the warm sun. Tomorrow it is suppose to be rainy! :( But hey, there is the Superbowl right? I can't wait to watch.

Peyton's Wheels

Peyton loves his new wheels that he got for his birthday! We all, including Zack, took a stroll around the neighborhood today. The car is a little loud as you are going down the street, but very easy to maneuver around. Afterwards, we relaxed on the swing in the back yard.

Playdate at Betsy and Gabriella's house

Today we had a playdate at Betsy and Gabriella's house. It was too chilly for the kids to go outside today, so we were stuck. But there were cool toys to play with inside!! And all of Peyton's friends were there.

Visit from Mimi & Pawpaw

Today Mimi and Pawpaw came over for a visit. They are usually out this way about once a week grocery shopping at Super Walmart. Of course Peyton is always up for a visit from the grandparents! He was pretty sad that they left. He kept staring out the door as they were leaving.
